The Central Pool, Equipment Control and Procurement Circle is responsible for procuring and managing vehicles, equipment, machinery and spare parts used in the construction and maintenance of the road network and for operating the central equipment pool for hiring equipment to RHD contractors. The Circle ensures that equipment and spares are effectively distributed to the Zonal Plant Pool Depots as required and that equipment and vehicles are hired out at commercial rates to contractors.
