The responsibility of each of the Zonal Mechanical Field Circles is to provide and maintain equipment for use in the construction and maintenance of roads and to provide safe and cost effective ferry services in the respective zone. The Field Circles manage Plant Pools Depots in each zone in order to hire out equipment on a commercial basis to contractors working for RHD.
