The Bridge Planning and Data Circle is responsible for collecting information concerning the conditions of bridges and entering this into the BCMMS (Bridge and Culvert Maintenance Management System) database. Using the BCMMS data supplemented where necessary by additional inspections and surveys, the Circle prepares plans and programmes for bridge rehabilitation, construction and maintenance projects.
