Background of the Project:
The existing bridge is being used for both railway and road for a long time. This is insufficient to cater the existing volume of traffic. The existing old railway bridge is a single lane bridge which needs replacement by a new one.

Brief Description of the Project: Existing old railway bridge will be replaced with a provision of rail cum road bridge.This bridge will be 650m long and 22m wide. Its central 5m is for railway and 2*7.5m=15m dual carriage way for road and 2m will be kept for sidewalk for both sides.
