Request for Expression of Interest (EoI) for Selection of Consulting Firm

The Roads and Highways Department (RHD) under the ministry of Road Transport and Bridges (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Client’) now invites Expression of Interest (EoI) from reputed consulting firm or firms in Joint Venture / Association for short listing of the consulting services for Maintenance and Operation of RHD MIS IT Infrastructure.
The Services Include: Providing maintenance and operation of server, switch, router, battery & power system, data/ document backup and storage, network and cabling, scanner, printer etc. including file server, internet server, domain server, mail server, GIS server, document archive server etc. of MIS Server Room. The service also includes PC, Laptop, printers, scanners, and network devices of RHD head office, wing, zone, circles and division offices. The consultant has to ensure that the entire IT infrastructure of RHD keep always running.
Computer System Analyst, Management Information Cell, RHD now invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consulting firms are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to the services. The information should be provided on: brochures & registration of the firm, description of similar assignments, experience in similar operating conditions, availability of appropriate professional qualification & equipments and experience among staff, etc. The firm shall have at least 30 nos. full time infrastructure and network personnel in IT including system engineers, maintenance engineers, data center experts and GIS expert, 5 (five) Years of Average Annual Turnover of min. BDT 1.0 Crore. The firm shall have completed similar work of contract value min. BDT 1.0 Crore in last 5 years, the firm shall have good experience in data center and large network design, operation and management.
Interested bonafide Consulting Firm / Joint Venture Firms are invited to submit EoI proposal enclosing only the required information.
A Consulting Firm will be selected using the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) Procurement method in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2008 (PPR-2008) and Procurement Procedures issued by the GoB.
Interested applicants may be obtain further information by applying to the address below during office hours between 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
Expression of Interest with supporting documents shall be submitted on or before 2.00 PM, 28 Feb 2017 in sealed envelope delivered to the address of the undersigned shown and be clearly marked “Request for Expression of Interest (EoI) for Selection of Consulting Firm (Time based) for providing Consultancy Services for Maintenance and Operation of RHD MIS IT Infrastructure”. The EoI may be submitted by hand registered post or courier service and the firm shall be responsible for safe delivery in time. The Procuring Entity (PE) shall not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the firms in connection with the preparation or delivery of the EoI. The procuring entity reserves the right to accept or reject all the Expression of Interest (EoI) without assigning any reason.
