Request for Expressin of Interest (EOI) for Selection of Consulting Firm (Time - based) for providing Maintenance Services to Computer Systems (Software, Hardware, Website and Computer Network) of RHD and Ministry of Communication.

The Services Include: Providing all types of IT maintenance service required for the computerized databases, websites, application software(s), Local Area Network, Metropolitan Area Network, Wide Area Network, Intranet and Internet services and related hardware equipments including servers, radio link towers and computer network related equipments working at RHD and MOC in satisfactory operating condition as determined by the Client.
The Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity required are: Experience in providing similar nature of service at Roads and Highway Department or any other ministry or department of Government of Bangladesh with similar hardware & software set-up.
The Computer Systems Analyst RHD, MIS and Estates circle now invites eligible Applicants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested Consultants are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar operating conditions, availability of appropriate professional qualification and experience among staff, financial capacity, annual turnover etc.).
Applicants may associate with other Consultants to enhance their qualifications, and though not mandatory, association with foreign firms is not encouraged in this instance.
A Consultant will be selected using the Selection under a Fixed Budget (SFB) procurement method in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations 2003 and Public Procurement Procedures issued by the GoB. It is expected that this service will commence on February 2006 and shall be completed on February 2007.
