Topo Survey and supply of layout plan and land acquisition plan of additional access road of 3rd Buriganga Bridge under 3-bridges project during the year 2007-2008.

1. The Project Manager, RHD, 3rd Buriganga bridge has a budget allocation for the procurement of the works above and wishes to apply some of that allocation for the procurement for which this Request for Quotation is issued.
2. The Quotation document will be issued from the office of the undersigned at office hour, upto 07.04.2008, free of cost. At any circumstances the quotation document will not be issued on 08.04.2008.

3. Payments made against any Procurement Order arising from this Request for Quotation will only be made in Bangladesh Taka. The Unit Rate(s) offered by the Contractor/ Survey Organization, if accepted, shall remain fixed for the duration of the Procurement Order.

Your quotation, in duplicate, must be delivered to the office of the undersigned on or before 12.00 NOON at 08-04-08. Any quotation received later than the scheduled time will be rejected and returned unopened. The envelope containing the quotation must be clearly marked “Quotation for Topo Survey and supply of layout plan and land acquisition plan of additional access road of 3rd Buriganga Bridge under 3-bridges project during the year 2007-2008 and DO NOT OPEN before on or before 12.00 NOON at 08-04-08.

4. All quotations must be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days from the closing date of the Request for Quotations.

5. The unit rate should be quoted including 15% VAT & 10% IT as per Bangladesh government rule.

6. In the case of any arithmetical discrepancy between the Unit Rate and the Total Amount quoted, then the Unit Rate shall prevail both for the evaluation of quotations and for the subsequent Procurement Order.

7. Depending on the final requirement, the quantities shown may increase or decrease by fifteen percent (15%) and this shall be reflected in the Procurement Order.

8. There will be no public opening of quotations; the Procuring Authority is not bound to accept the lowest quotation and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the quotations without assigning any reason whatsoever.
