1. The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh (GOB) has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Road Network Improvement & Maintenance Project-II [ADB Loan No. 2021-BAN-(SF)] and intends to apply a portion of this loan to eligible payments for conducting Detail Design of Transport Corridors Project (TCP). Under TCP, the Government of Bangladesh intends to improve the following roads :

Bogra-Natore Road 63.00 km
Total 165.00 km
Roads & Highways Department (RHD), Government of Bangladesh, shall be the Executing Agency (EA) for this project.
2. RHD, the EA now invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from internationally reputed eligible consulting firms of any ADB member country for shortlisting for the captioned services.
3. The Design Consultancy Services shall include Detailed Engineering Designs for the above roads.
The engagement of consultant is scheduled for a period of 9 months apart from an additional intermittent and partial input of 3 months for addressing issues pointed out in reviews of the Project Supervision Consultants. The input for the International Experts under the assignment is 20 person- months, while that of National Experts is 140 person-months.
