The Roads and Highway Department (RHD) under the Ministry of Communications (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Client’) now invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputed consulting firm or firms in joint venture/association for short-listing of the consulting services for carrying out Road Inventory, Road Condition & Classified Traffic Count Survey of RHD Road Network (East Region of Bangladesh) during the year 2012-2013.
The services include:
The work includes the services: (a) Road Inventory Survey 10,600 km (b) Road Condition Survey 10,600 km (c) Classified Traffic Count Survey in 600 stations (d) Test Pit Inventory 10,600points and (e) GPS Survey 2000 km (f) Road User Cost Survey.
The experience, resources and delivery capacity required are:
1) Brochures & registration of the firm(s).
2) General and overall experience of the firm(s) (limited to three pages).
3) Experience of the firm(s) in similar project works during the last 10 years. (Limited to three pages).
4) Average annual turnover of the firm(s) during the last 3 (three) years.
5) Summary of permanent professional employees with key qualifications.
The Superintending Engineer, HDM Circle now invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consulting firms are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. The information should be provided on: brochures & registration of the firm, description of similar assignments, experience in similar operating conditions, availability of appropriate professional qualification & equipments and experience among staff, etc.
Interested bonafide consulting firm/joint venture firms are invited to submit EOI proposal enclosing only the required information. In case of joint venture it is preferable to limit the total number of firm including associates to a maximum of 3 (three).
A Consulting firm will be selected using the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) procurement method in accordance with the public procurement Rules 2008 (PPR-2008) and procurement procedures issued by the GoB.
Interested applications may obtain further information by applying to the address below during normal office hours.
Expression of Interest shall be submitted by 12.00pm on September 12, 2012 in sealed envelop delivered to Superintending Engineer, RHD, HDM Circle, Room No-114, Block-A and be clearly marked “Request for Expressions of Interest for selection of consulting firm for carrying out Road Inventory, Road Condition, Classified Traffic Count Survey etc of RHD Road Network. (East Region)”
The procuring entity reserves the right to accept or reject all EOIs.
